Occupational Therapist Wanted for Assessment Assignment in Nacka
Are you ready to take the next step in your career and work with in-depth assessments? Do you thrive in independent work, structured evaluations, and writing professional analyses? This might be the position for you. We are currently looking for an occupational therapist with experience in activity capacity assessments and a strong interest in assessment work for our clinic in Nacka.
We conduct activity capacity assessments (AFU) on behalf of the Swedish Social Insurance Agency (Försäkringskassan). At our clinic, you will work alongside experienced specialist doctors, physiotherapists, psychologists, and medical secretaries in an interprofessional team where the insured individual is always at the center. You would be part of a group consisting of approximately six full-time occupational therapists.
Since our founding in 2020, we have continuously developed our working methods and strengthened the quality of our assessments. We value a good work environment, close collaboration, and a flat hierarchy learning culture with great opportunities for development – both individually and together with others.
We offer:
- A structured and flexible work environment with some possibility for remote work
- A generous wellness allowance
- A secure and supportive work environment
- Opportunities to develop within qualified assessment work
- Experienced and engaged colleagues from various professions
Job Responsibilities
The assignment is clearly defined and follows the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's method for activity capacity assessments. The evaluations are conducted using the AWP-FK assessment instrument and are based on observations of activity capacity.
The work primarily consists of:
- Assessment and investigation of activity and work capacity
- Documentation and certificate writing
- Collaboration within an interprofessional team
The individuals we meet have varying diagnoses and disabilities and are of working age. The work does not involve medical treatment or rehabilitation but places high demands on professional and secure handling, as many of the people we meet are in demanding life situations.
In addition to the clinical work, we actively participate in the organization's quality and development work, where employees' ideas and initiatives are encouraged and utilized.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is a licensed occupational therapist
- Has experience in assessing and investigating activity or work capacity
- Is proficient in using the AWP assessment instrument
- Has excellent written communication skills in Swedish
- Thrives with structure, method-driven work, and clear timeframes
- Is independent, responsible, and professional in approach
- Has good collaboration skills and contributes to a positive work climate
- Is confident in your professional role
- Has the ability to meet people with respect, clarity, and professionalism, even in situations that may be emotionally demanding.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability and value traits such as flexibility, commitment, and a willingness to develop.
Qualifications
- Licence as an occupational therapist
- Swedish language skills equivalent to at least level C1
- Experience with AWP and activity capacity assessments
For work with us, completion of a two-day AFU training course via the Swedish Social Insurance Agency is required. If you do not already have this training, an opportunity to complete it in connection with employment will be offered.
