The Environmental Unit is part of the Community Development Administration and the environment, planning, and construction operations. The Environmental Unit is led by a unit manager who reports to the operations director and administration director. Job Description

We are looking for an Environmental and Health Inspector for a permanent position at the Environmental Unit. The content of the role can be adapted to some extent based on competence and interest. We seek competence in environmental protection.

The work is carried out according to annual overarching planning, which provides the opportunity to largely plan your tasks freely. In addition to tasks such as supervision, case management, and acting as an advisor to the people of Borlänge, we collaborate extensively with other units to build a more efficient and effective administration. We work in the case management system Castor.

Qualifications

• You are a graduated Environmental and Health Inspector or have other relevant education or experience that the employer finds suitable.
• You are computer literate.
• You have very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• You have a valid B driving license.
• Experience working as an Environmental and Health Inspector is meritorious.
