We are now looking for a Head Chef for Kungsberget, one of Sweden's most popular ski resorts, who wants to work with the food offering in an exciting and unique environment.

As a Head Chef here, you will have a seasonal position where intensive periods during December-April and June-September alternate with time for reflection and preparation for upcoming seasons. This is a unique opportunity in the restaurant world – a job that combines creativity, leadership, skiing and cycling joy, in one of the most fun and dynamic roles you can find.

As Head Chef at Kungsberget, you will help develop the kitchen and food operations. You have two permanent chefs to assist you. Together, you are responsible for the operation of four units, where your focus and area of expertise is the food we serve.

The position includes among other things:

• Develop menus and food concepts, and ensure taste, quality, and presentation.
• Be responsible for the recipe bank, calculations, and portion costs.
• Plan and lead kitchen operations, including production, staffing, and purchasing.
• Lead and develop the kitchen team, including training seasonal staff.
• Be responsible for recruiting kitchen staff.
• Ensure a consistent and high quality level in all restaurants.
• Work with the kitchen budget, key figures, and follow-up together with the group management.

The person we are looking for has several years of experience as a Head Chef and a great passion for food and hospitality. You have good leadership skills and are good at motivating your employees. We consider it a given that you are happy and positive, as we believe that happy employees lead to happy guests.

• Several years of experience in a leading position with result responsibility.
• Experience in restaurant operations with large volumes.
• You master Swedish and English in speech and writing.
• Driver's license and access to a car.
