Vårdlänken is currently seeking a licensed speech therapist for a consultancy assignment within geriatrics in central Stockholm and Järfälla. Here you will work in an engaged, cross-professional team and meet patients with diverse needs in a central and pleasant environment.

About the assignment

The assignment is a summer temporary position within inpatient care, focusing on acute geriatric patients. You will work independently within the speech therapy field while being an integral part of the team.

Responsibilities

• Assessment and treatment of dysphagia
• Evaluation of aphasia and dysarthria
• Collaboration with other professions within the team
• Documentation according to current guidelines

Qualifications

• Licensed speech therapist
• Experience primarily with swallowing assessments
• Interest in dysphagia and neuro-linguistics
• Good proficiency in Swedish
• Extensive experience is an advantage
