We now welcome you, as a nursing assistant, to our homey elderly care facility, Vaxholm Elderly Care.
In the role of nursing assistant at Forenede Care, you work to provide good care, service, and healthcare to our residents. Here, you make a difference every day while having fun at work. Together with knowledgeable and engaged colleagues, you help shape the future of elderly care.
Forenede Care Vaxholm Elderly Care consists of three buildings with a total of 83 apartments distributed across seven units. Five units are intended for people with cognitive impairments, and one unit has 27 somatic beds. We are now looking for nursing assistants for the different departments, both within cognitive impairment and for our somatic department. The positions range between 75–80%.
The facility is located near green areas with good transport connections. It takes approximately 40 minutes by bus from central Stockholm, and about an hour by the Vaxholm ferry.

In the role of nursing assistant, you work with care and support based on the resident's wishes, in accordance with assistance decisions, and always with a strong focus on quality. You work, for example, by helping with personal hygiene, meal preparation and serving, answering alarms, and providing social interaction. Social interaction is an important part of our work so that all our residents can live life, for life. This can involve everything from chatting, playing games, going on excursions, taking a bike ride, or finding fun activities to do together. You also perform delegated tasks from licensed staff, such as medication administration and training.
Job Description
We are currently looking for several nursing assistants for permanent positions with a probationary period.
Start date: By agreement.
To be considered for the position, you need:
- A certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare as a nursing assistant.
- Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
We also consider it an advantage if you have previous experience in elderly care and dementia care.
To thrive in this role, you are engaged and care about your fellow human beings, while being good at building relationships and being service-oriented. At our company, we work both in teams and independently, so it is important that you are comfortable in this environment.
Before we offer employment, you will need to order an extract from the criminal record register "Work in the home with elderly and persons with disabilities" via the police website. We also require a valid Swedish work permit, such as a passport or an approved work permit from the Swedish Migration Agency.
