Your role at Iver As a Service Desk Technician, you will be a vital part of the service we deliver to our customers at our IT Customer Support Center (CSC). It is important that you are skilled in customer contact, enjoy problem-solving, and can be flexible, as support tasks are a natural part of your daily routine.
Three days as a Service Desk Technician might look like this:
Finally Monday! A new workweek begins, and the first thing you do is pour a cup of coffee, log into the systems, and catch up with colleagues on how the weekend was. You start your workweek by logging into the support system, reviewing tickets, and helping your customers. You plan for the week's work and customer meetings.
Is it Wednesday already? In the morning, you sit in a meeting with your colleagues to review the analysis & results of customer deliveries and discuss which priorities we need to achieve for the rest of the week. The rest of the day is fully focused on technical support.
Happy Friday! The week goes by far too fast. This particular morning is filled with troubleshooting an incident in a customer's environment. A small team quickly forms and works efficiently to find a solution to the problem affecting the customer. No problem is too difficult, and you are eager to find a solution, which you do just in time for lunch! In the afternoon, you support your colleagues with more complex problems and coach employees in their daily work.

Who are we looking for? To succeed in this role, we believe you have an interest in IT and enjoy providing good customer service. We see that you have a high school or post-secondary education in IT/technology or equivalent experience. The important thing is that you have technical understanding and enjoy problem-solving. We place great emphasis on personal qualities, and to fit the role, you need to thrive working both in teams and independently. As a person, you are flexible, stress-resistant, and comfortable interacting with others. Attention to detail and responsibility are other desirable qualities required for the job.

Windows Server/Client
AD and GPO
Office 365 and Exchange
Application Operations
Network Technology
IT Security
Location: Iver is present in 23 locations in the Nordics. For this role, we see that you are based at one of our offices in Skövde.
