About the position

Our client is an established Swedish logistics company with a strong focus on sustainable and climate-smart transport. By combining modern technology, high safety standards, and environmental awareness, they are driving the development of future logistics solutions. You will initially be employed by Professionals Nord and work as a consultant for our client during the first 6 months. The goal is a long-term solution where you can eventually become directly employed by the client.

Responsibilities

In the role of mechanic, you will:

• Perform service, maintenance, and repair of freight trains and associated equipment
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
• Work proactively to ensure high operational reliability
• Contribute to a safe and efficient transport flow

We are looking for someone who

• Has experience and interest in mechanics and is hands-on
• Has a solution-oriented approach to work
• Has good knowledge of Swedish

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience or education in technology, vehicles, industry, or similar
• Experience with welding and/or turning
• Forklift and/or overhead crane licenses
