About the role

You are the hub for the residents' health and medical care interventions and work to provide quality of life. You are responsible for ensuring medical orders are followed. You regularly conduct risk assessments and follow-ups to ensure good quality in the operations.

Collaboration and support

You are part of a team with care staff, nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. An important role for you is to coach and educate the care staff so that together you give each resident the best possible life. In this job, you work closely with the residence's group managers who are responsible for the care staff. Our group managers also coach and work together with the teams in daily work.

We invest in leadership development for you as a nurse. A course we can offer you is "Leading without being a manager".

Getting to know the residents

Understanding the residents' wishes and noticing small changes in their health and medical conditions is often crucial for correct assessments and decisions.

About Solbacken

Solbacken is a dementia residence consisting of group housing, short-term care, respite care places, as well as a day activity center. There is also the possibility for couples to live together.

We focus on good, high-quality care and offer a varied range of activities, both individually and in groups. On the residence, there is an activity coordinator who works full-time planning and coordinating activities for our residents. We also have a nice garden that we use frequently in the summer.

Your experience and knowledge

You are a licensed nurse, and we would like you to have worked a few years in elderly care. Our residents are often multi-morbid, which requires you to have broad knowledge of various diseases and conditions, as well as an interest in the aging person. Good computer skills and experience with documentation are important.
