IT Technician with DevOps Focus at iFACTS

Do you want to work in a technically advanced environment where you can combine operations, automation, and development? Our client, iFACTS, is now looking for a hands-on IT Technician with a DevOps focus who wants to help develop tomorrow's infrastructure and hosting solutions.

iFACTS is a product company offering a flexible platform where customers can manage everything from governance and compliance to insurance and claims handling in a single system. The company works with both cloud-based (SaaS) and on-premise solutions, creating a technically broad and complex environment. Here, you will work closely with both internal teams and customers' IT departments in a growing and developing business.

About the Role

As an IT Technician at iFACTS, you will become part of the Infrastructure and Platform team, working hands-on to build, optimize, and further develop the company's IT environment. The role is practical and technically deep; you will work with everything from operations and hosting to automation and modern deployment flows. A major focus is placed on streamlining and automating on-premise environments as well as developing working methods within DevOps. You are also expected to have strong communication skills and be able to support customers in their work within iFACTS environments in a pedagogical manner.

In this role, you will:

• Build, maintain, and optimize infrastructure and hosting environments
• Automate on-premise environments and deployment flows
• Work with CI/CD and improve build and deployment processes
• Collaborate closely with customers' IT departments on technical deliveries
• Work with both SaaS and on-premise solutions
• Participate in the further development of the platform, working methods, and technology choices

We are looking for someone who

• Has a strong technical interest and a passion for DevOps, operations, and automation
• Thrives in a hands-on role where you get to work broadly and practically
• Has experience with IT infrastructure and server operations, either through professional experience or relevant university/college education

We would appreciate if you have experience with several of the following:

• SQL and Microsoft SQL Server
• Git and version control
• Windows Server and Linux (e.g., Ubuntu)
• PowerShell scripting
• Docker and container technology
• Ansible or similar configuration management tools
• Networking (DNS, TCP/IP, firewalls)
• CI/CD flows (e.g., GitHub Actions)
• APIs (REST, JSON)

Other requirements:
