TERMINAL WORKER AND COURIER DRIVER IN UMEÅ (PART-TIME)

Instabox Umeå is growing and needs to strengthen our workforce. We are currently looking for skilled terminal workers and courier drivers to join our team in Umeå.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a terminal worker, you will work at the Instabox terminal where thousands of parcels arrive daily. Your main tasks involve reloading, sorting, and dispatching parcels for delivery. The work consists of a mix of mechanical and manual sorting, depending on which part of the terminal you are assigned to. The key priority is to ensure smooth operations within the terminal and that goods are handled according to the schedule.

This position is ideal for you who are studying at least 50%, or alternatively, have another job of at least 50%.

NOTE! Please note that you will also be handling boxes containing alcohol in this role.

We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, responsible, and challenging work environment. Since the work involves heavy lifting and high tempo, good physical fitness is a prerequisite. You should also be comfortable using IT tools.

HOURS OF WORK

You are expected to work approximately 3 days per week, Monday to Friday. The shifts vary but are typically:

• 07:00 – 10:15
• 07:00 – 17:00
• 15:30 – 22:00

REQUIREMENTS

• You must be 18 years or older.
• Valid B-driver's license.
• Good understanding of Microsoft Office.
• Good computer skills.
• Strong team player.
• Good physical fitness.
• Good language skills in Swedish or English (both written and verbal).
• You are a student or have another employment of at least 50%.
• Background check required – zero tolerance for criminal records.

BENEFICIAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in similar work.
