About the company

Chromafora is an innovation company within cleantech, featuring unique patented and patent-pending technologies for water purification based on self-developed chemical processes: SELPAXT and SELMEXT.

Both technologies focus on removing pollutants and reducing waste volumes through selectivity. SELMEXT removes heavy metals, while SELPAXT removes both short- and long-chain PFAS substances from water streams.

The SELMEXT process also contributes to preserving critical raw materials by enabling the recovery and reuse of valuable metals, such as gold and other sought-after metals, from waste.

As of April 2025, Chromafora’s headquarters and chemical laboratory are located in Västberga, Stockholm.

About the role

As an Operations/Service Technician at Chromafora, you will have a varied and independent daily routine where you work closely with the company's advanced and innovative facilities for water purification and metal extraction – both in Sweden and across Europe. Chromafora's technology is based on self-developed chemistry and groundbreaking solutions, making the work both exciting and meaningful.

As an Operations/Service Technician at Chromafora, you will play a central role in ensuring the operation of our technical systems and facilities. The work encompasses a broad spectrum of tasks – from troubleshooting and repairs to service and preventive maintenance. You are also responsible for conducting sampling, checks, and calibrations, as well as identifying and addressing technical deviations. The role also includes planning and ordering spare parts, as well as maintaining a good overview of what is required to quickly and efficiently handle various operational challenges.

The role also requires careful documentation and communication to ensure efficient and quality-assured operations over time.

Travel is a natural part of the job, with approximately 50–100 overnight stays per year. You will work at facilities throughout Sweden, Scandinavia, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium – and sometimes elsewhere in Europe.

You will be based at Chromafora's new, modern office but will spend most of your time on-site with customers in the field.

We are looking for someone who

• Has relevant technical education in operations technology, service technology, or similar.
• Has experience working in process environments, e.g., in facility management, industry, or swimming pool facilities – where you have built an understanding of how technical systems interconnect.
• Has a strong interest in environmental technology – you want to contribute to a more sustainable world.
• Has experience with automation.
• Hold a valid driver's license (Category B).
• Have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Additional languages are a plus.
