Ekeby Möbler and the restaurant Sitt In continue to move forward and are looking for a driven cook with experience in both cold and hot dishes. About the position

As a cook at Sitt In, you work with everything from cakes to à la carte dishes. The role includes both cooking and baking, as well as preparing sandwiches and other small treats. You thrive in a team environment but are also capable of taking individual responsibility. For you, cooking is as much a passion as it is a profession. Good food is simply a given for you, and you appreciate traditional home cooking just as much as new influences and exciting ideas. You are comfortable working in a broad range of areas, including daily specials, à la carte, buffets, catering, cakes, and pastries. Furthermore, you value professional and friendly customer service.

Employment type and working hours

The position is a permanent full-time employment (100%).

Working hours are mainly aligned with the store's opening hours: 10:00–18:00 on weekdays and 10:00–17:00 on weekends. You will be scheduled to work every other weekend. Evening work occurs during special events.

Qualifications

• You are a trained cook and/or have at least three years of industry experience

• Good knowledge of cooking and baking

Restaurant Sitt In is located inside the store. The restaurant is an important part of the business and customer experience, offering daily specials, à la carte, sandwiches, coffee, and pastries. The restaurant also has full liquor license and caters for events. We regularly host quiz nights, interior design evenings, and other types of events.
