About the position

As a restaurant assistant at Sitt In, you will work with serving, cash handling, dishwashing/cleaning, and preparing simple meals. Good customer service and a positive attitude are essential for this role. You thrive in a team environment but are also capable of taking independent responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Serving and customer service
• Cash handling
• Preparation and cooking of simple meals and drinks
• Dishwashing and cleaning
• Restocking supplies
• Maintaining the restaurant in good order

Employment type and working hours

This is a permanent position with a workload of 50–100%, to be agreed upon.

Working hours are primarily aligned with the store's opening hours: 10:00–18:00 on weekdays and 10:00–17:00 on weekends. You will be scheduled to work every other weekend. Evening shifts occur during special events.

Qualifications

Previous experience from a restaurant or café is an advantage but not a requirement. The most important factors are your attitude and personal qualities.

Restaurant Sitt In is located inside the store. The restaurant is an important part of the business and customer experience, offering daily specials, à la carte, sandwiches, coffee, and pastries. The restaurant also holds full liquor license and offers catering services. We regularly host quiz nights, interior design evenings, and other types of events.
