What does the role of a nurse at Norlandia Elderly Care entail?
A nurse at Norlandia Elderly Care is a valuable key person, and we are looking for someone who is skilled in their professional role and enjoys meeting people in various situations. Together in a team with care staff, rehabilitation, and management, we collaborate around the resident to ensure a good life every day.
The specific competence of a registered nurse is nursing care. This encompasses both the scientific knowledge area and the patient-oriented work based on a humanistic view of humanity. You are responsible for ensuring that the health care needs of our residents are met.
As a nurse, you are responsible for and lead the nursing care work. This means independently, in team collaboration and in partnership with the resident and their next of kin, being responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care. An important task is also to supervise, support, and educate other care staff and serve as a good role model for your colleagues.
You work with care in everything you do, taking significant personal responsibility, and have the ability to prioritize and lead others even in changing circumstances. Flexibility and collegial cooperation are of great importance in this role.
About Timansstenar Elderly Care Home
Timansstenar is a modern elderly care home located beautifully in the scenic Ljungaviken by the sea. The facility has 60 apartments distributed across 6 wards focusing on somatic care and dementia care respectively. There is a sunroom, spa, and a lovely garden with an orangery that we enjoy during the summer. You can reach us easily on foot from the train station with a pleasant walk across the bridge.

- We are looking for you who are a registered nurse
- It is an advantage if you have previous experience as a nurse in elderly care
- You need to have good knowledge of healthcare regulations
- You have a good command of the Swedish language in both speech and writing
- We would appreciate if you have knowledge of documentation based on ICF and KVÅ
- We want you to have good knowledge of the national quality registers relevant to the operations
- A driver's license is required

Probation: We apply a 6-month probation period
We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the last application date. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
In the event of employment, you must be able to provide an extract from the criminal record register. You must also be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden, by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EEA or alternatively a valid work permit.
