About the role

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Sleep Annotator who will listen to, mark, and annotate complete audio recordings from app users. This is a very important task that contributes to Sleep Cycle's continued software and app development. The role is perfect for you who have a genuine interest in AI, ML, and data. You should also be a methodical, careful, and relaxed person with good patience and the ability to maintain high focus for extended periods. As an annotator, you will work according to the "Pomodoro model," which is a work method with frequent breaks to best maintain both focus and quality throughout your work shift.

This is a consultancy assignment, meaning you will be employed as a consultant by us at Academic Work. We are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible. The assignment is suitable for you who are studying at a post-secondary level. The work is estimated to be approximately 16 hours per week during daytime hours and standard office times.

We are looking for you who

• Are studying at a post-secondary level with at least 1 year remaining in your studies.
• Have a great deal of patience and the ability to maintain high focus for long periods.
• Have a genuine interest in data, AI, and ML.
• Have basic computer skills.
• Have fluent Swedish skills in both speech and writing, as well as good English skills – as this is required in daily work.

It is an advantage if you have

• An extra interest in health and sleep.
• Are studying an IT-related education with a focus on data/AI.

Our recruitment process
