About the Company

Are you an experienced mechanic with a passion for heavy machinery, looking to work for one of Sweden's leading agricultural companies? Wikan is currently recruiting a Heavy Equipment Mechanic on behalf of our client, aiming to ensure the smooth operation of machinery and vehicles. This position offers a strong potential for conversion to a direct employment contract with the client.

As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic for our client, you will be responsible for servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing agricultural machinery, construction equipment, and heavy goods vehicles. You will join a dedicated team where the focus is on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform servicing, repairs, and maintenance on heavy machinery, vehicles, and equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Diagnose and rectify faults using modern diagnostic tools.
• Prepare machinery for the season and delivery.
• Work both in the workshop and on-site at the customer's location as needed.
• Contribute to an organized, safe, and efficient workflow.

Your Background and Qualities

We are looking for someone who has:

• A vehicle technology education or equivalent experience.
• Experience working with heavy vehicles, agricultural, or construction machinery.
• Good knowledge of hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and mechanics.
• The ability to work independently and take responsibility for your tasks.
• A valid B-driver's license (CE license is an advantage).

Experience with brands such as John Deere, Claas, Volvo, Scania, or similar is considered a plus.

This is a consulting assignment starting immediately. You will be employed by Wikan Personal and work as a hired consultant at the client's company. The assignment aims to transition into a direct employment contract with the client.
