Responsibilities

As a Technical Inside Sales Representative at Axel Larsson, you have a key and central role in the company's sales efforts and daily contact with customers. You handle incoming inquiries and orders, primarily via email and phone, ensuring that customers receive fast, professional, and solution-oriented service throughout the entire business process. A key part of the role is providing technical advice and support during product selection, often in close dialogue with the Product Manager or Technical Department to find the right solution for the customer. You collaborate closely with the company's outside sales team, supporting them with quotation materials, documentation, and handling of customer cases.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Receive and handle incoming inquiries and orders via email and phone.
  • Process customer inquiries, prepare quotations, and enter orders into the business system.
  • Provide technical support and advice to customers during product selection, in consultation with the Product Manager or Technical Department as needed.
  • Support the outside sales team with quotations, documentation, and customer cases.
  • Collaborate closely with the outside sales team to achieve common sales goals.
  • Build, develop, and maintain long-term customer relationships with a focus on high service and customer satisfaction.

Education, Experience, and Personal Qualities

  • Completed upper secondary education with a technical focus.
  • At least two years of experience in similar roles within the industry, preferably from positions such as maintenance technician or equivalent in the process industry.
  • Good technical understanding and interest in technology.
  • Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
  • Good IT skills, e.g., business systems, CRM systems, and MS Office.

As a person, you are confident and service-oriented in customer interactions, outgoing, and communicative both verbally and in writing. You take initiative, follow up on inquiries, and are driven by finding solutions. As a team player, you collaborate without hierarchy with colleagues and handle challenges in a flexible and solution-oriented manner. Curiosity and a genuine interest in technology, as well as an understanding of how different components interact, are crucial for success in this role.
