In the role of Automation Engineer, you will work with support and development of the production process with a focus on automation. You will implement new automation solutions, optimize production flows, and conduct reviews and improvements of machines and equipment.

Specifically, the responsibilities include:

• Working on continuous process improvements, implementing new automation solutions to optimize processes and improve ergonomics for operators.
• Efficientizing and quality-assuring processes.
• Implementing product changes and creating work instructions.
• Specifying requirements for tools and fixtures, as well as commissioning new equipment.
• Maintaining existing automated systems and introducing necessary improvements and changes.
• Training staff on how the production process works.
• Programming robots and PLCs.

We would like you to have:

• Relevant academic education in production technology or other post-secondary education combined with good experience.
• At least three years of relevant work experience from the manufacturing industry.
• Good communication skills in both Swedish and English, spoken and written.
• Good insight into and experience of production and production processes.
• Knowledge of composite technology and experience in automation are considered meritorious.
• Knowledge and experience of working with Lean Production.
