About Us

Nordic Home Service is a family-owned business established in 2002. The company was founded by sisters Maria Irebro and Marie-Louise Bergqvist. Today, we have approximately 150 employees working in Danderyd, Östermalm, and Södermalm.

Nordic Home Service has agreements with the City of Stockholm. In our work, we follow established routines and guidelines along with continuous quality controls.

Qualifications

• Experience in service-oriented roles
• Good knowledge of Swedish (both spoken and written)
• Experience in nursing/care
• Care and nursing education of at least 800 points
• Good physical fitness as the role involves a lot of walking and lifting heavy objects

Job Responsibilities

Working in home care means working independently with significant responsibility. At the same time, you are part of our team and have daily contact with our customers and their relatives. Your tasks include planning and performing care work in customers' homes, such as:

• Personal care (assistance with personal hygiene, mobility, dressing).
• Services (cooking, grocery shopping, cleaning, and laundry).
• Accompaniment (accompanying the customer to activities outside the home).

After each visit, you will perform detailed documentation and time registration via a mobile application. You travel between customers on foot, by bicycle, or by car.

Customer visits take place between 07:00–22:00, year-round. We appreciate that you are flexible and can work both day and evening shifts, as well as weekends.

We prefer that you can work between 70–90% and do not have other employment.
