Service Technician with a Passion for Electric Buses

Eurobus Nordic AS is an importer of electric buses to the Nordic countries (Norway, Denmark, Sweden, and Finland) and is headquartered in Porsgrunn. The company is experiencing strong market interest, and contracts for the delivery of several buses have already been signed. Our customers are bus operators in the Nordics who wish to offer their clients a more environmentally friendly alternative, a concern that is growing increasingly important. The buses currently offered are based on 100% electric propulsion.

We are now looking for a service technician with knowledge of fossil-free technology, specifically electricity. This person will support our customers and, not least, our buses effectively. We envision a mechanic with an understanding of electrical systems as an ideal candidate. It is important to us that you are interested in and have insight into mechanics and electricity, and that you are a polite and pleasant person. You will be attached to our Swedish division and will primarily support our customers in the Hälsingland region.

You will report to our Service Manager in Sweden.

Your daily routine will therefore consist of office work, customer visits, and traveling to where the buses are located.

The main focus of the tasks will be as follows:

• Support and handling of technical questions related to service and maintenance.
• Performing service and warranty work.
• Daily contact with customers via phone and email.
• Documentation and handling of, for example, complaints.
• Some travel is expected.

Qualifications:

• Must have practical experience from the automotive industry, mechanics, and/or electronics.
• Experience with heavy vehicles or electric vehicles is a plus.
• Relevant vocational certificate.
• Good technical insight and the ability to see the big picture.
• Good IT skills.
• Fluency in both Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
