About Rådhuskällaren

Rådhuskällaren is a highly reputable restaurant located in the heart of Malmö. With a rich history, classic charm, beautiful cellar vaults, and service in the majestic premises of the City Hall, we offer a unique dining experience for both local and international guests.

The restaurant serves traditional goose dinners, Christmas buffets, and our much-appreciated filet mignon feast. We also offer a banquet hall with platter service for corporate events, anniversaries, and other formal occasions. Traditional banquets, buffets, and events are held in the City Hall's banquet hall in collaboration with various organizers – all in a unique and historic setting.

Responsibilities and Tasks

• Overall responsibility for daily kitchen operations
• Lead, inspire, and develop the kitchen team in a positive work environment
• Responsible for menu planning and creative dishes with a focus on seasonal ingredients
• Ensure the highest level of quality, hygiene, and workplace safety according to industry standards
• Order goods, manage inventory flow, and minimize waste
• Staff planning, recruitment, and onboarding of new employees
• Actively promote good communication between the kitchen, dining room, and management

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience as a Head Chef, Sous Chef, or in another leadership role in a professional kitchen
• Good knowledge of Swedish cuisine
• Experience with menu and recipe development
• Systematic and detail-oriented, with an eye for flow and efficiency
• Experience with economics and ingredient management
• An engaging and inclusive leader who builds team spirit and develops colleagues
• Fluent in Swedish and English
