Vårdlänken is now looking for a licensed speech-language pathologist for a consulting assignment at Sabbatsberg Geriatrics and Jakobsberg Geriatrics in Stockholm. Here you will work in an engaged interdisciplinary team and meet patients with varying needs in a central and pleasant environment.

About the assignment

The assignment is a summer temporary position within inpatient care, focusing on acute geriatric patients. You work independently within the speech-language pathology field while being an important part of the team.

Responsibilities

• Assessment and treatment of dysphagia
• Assessment of aphasia and dysarthria
• Collaboration with other professions in the team
• Documentation according to current guidelines

Qualifications

• Licensed speech-language pathologist
• Experience primarily with swallowing assessments
• Interest in dysphagia and neuro-linguistics
• Good knowledge of Swedish
• Extensive experience is an advantage
