In 2021, JENSEN education opened a completely new primary and preschool school in Bro Mälarstrand, in Upplands-Bro Municipality, complete with an associated production kitchen. From this kitchen, food is delivered daily to our school units across the country – including to Kåbo in Uppsala, where this position is located. You will be responsible for assisting with the preparation and cleanup related to lunch service.

Our meals are cooked in our production kitchen by our chefs and are high-quality, nutritious, and varied. We have a strong sustainability mindset and work actively to utilize raw materials in the best possible way. We also share the view on the importance of safeguarding children's health and well-being, for example by actively working to reduce the amount of refined sugar in their diet.

As part of the kitchen staff, you have overall responsibility for, among other things, hygiene in the kitchen and the quality of the meals served at our schools, which you take very seriously. In addition, you have a strong desire to brighten the children's day at the preschool by offering them the "little extra" that your commitment to food can provide.

Qualifications

We prefer that you have experience from working in a kitchen, as well as education or knowledge in hygienic handling of food and raw materials. It is also important to us that you have a drive to develop within your role, that you dare to take initiative, and that you can express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

Employment Type

The position is a permanent employment of approximately 43% (approx. 4 hours/day) to allow for time off during holidays. Start date is in August or as agreed. A 6-month probation period applies to this position.
