In August 2026, JENSEN will open a new primary school (Grades F-3) and preschool in Uppsala, located between Kåbo and Ultuna. In connection with this opening, we are looking for a meal assistant who wants to become part of our team. Our meals are prepared in our production kitchen in Bro Mälarstrand and then delivered to Ultuna.

Our meals are cooked by our chefs in our production kitchen and are high-quality, nutritious, and varied. We have a sustainability mindset and work actively to utilize raw materials in the best possible way. In addition, you share our thoughts on the importance of safeguarding children's health and well-being, including actively working to reduce the amount of refined sugar they consume.

As part of the kitchen staff here, you have overall responsibility for, among other things, hygiene in the kitchen and the quality of the meals served at our schools, which you take very seriously. In addition, you have a strong desire to brighten the children's day at the preschool by offering them the "little extra" that your engagement with food can provide.

Qualifications

We would like you to have experience from working in a kitchen, as well as training/knowledge in hygienic handling of food and raw materials. It is also important to us that you have the drive to develop in your role, that you dare to take initiative, and that you can express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

Employment Type

The position is a permanent part-time employment at 50%. Start in August or as agreed. For this position, we apply a 6-month probation period.

In school operations, you must according to law (2000:873) present an extract from the criminal record. Order in good time, it takes at least 14 days to receive the extract.
