Job Description

We are looking for a nurse with experience in pediatric care to join our team on wards 64 and 74, who wants to contribute to the best care for children aged 0–18 years requiring acute hospital care. At the end of 2026, our pediatric department will move into new, modern premises, and we are now looking for dedicated employees who want to be part of this journey.

We offer you the opportunity to gain broad competence in pediatric care, where you will meet patients with various conditions such as diabetes, eating disorders, hand surgery, infections, and appendicitis. No two days are alike, and you can learn something new every day.

On wards 64 and 74, you will work in interprofessional teams together with assistant nurses, doctors, meal coordinators, play therapists, dietitians, social workers, and medical secretaries. As a nurse, you have a central role in planning, leading, and implementing nursing care. We are looking for someone who thrives in a team environment and wants to actively participate in our work to improve and develop the important care we provide on the ward.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is curious, engaged, flexible, and has good organizational and collaborative skills. You can work independently in your professional role and have the ability to see the big picture. Furthermore, you are a person who, through your attitude, contributes to a stimulating and safe work environment. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Competency Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN)
• Swedish language skills equivalent to at least level C1
• Experience working with children and young people in healthcare or emergency care. Specialist education in pediatrics is an advantage.
