Occupational Therapist at Habiliteringscenter Sollentuna Adults

Do you want to make a difference for our patients?

About Us

Habiliteringscenter Sollentuna Adults is a specialist outpatient clinic belonging to the Rehabilitation & Health business area. We provide interventions for individuals over 18 years of age with congenital or early-acquired disabilities, such as autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disability, or mobility impairment.

Through advice, support, and treatment for both patients and their networks, we work to prevent and reduce the difficulties that disabilities can entail in daily life.

We work in interdisciplinary teams with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech therapists, social workers, and psychologists, supported by administrators. We are a dedicated work group with high competence and a strong focus on collaboration, job satisfaction, and development.

We value a sustainable work environment and offer good opportunities for balance between work and private life, with flexible working hours, a generous wellness allowance, wellness during working hours, and free healthcare.

The operations are organized into teams based on target groups: Intellectual disability and mobility impairment, and autism spectrum disorder.

Our catchment area includes Solna, Sollentuna, Järfälla, Sigtuna, Upplands-Bro, and Upplands Väsby. The clinic is located in modern premises near Sollentuna center with good transport connections.

About the Position

We are now looking for an occupational therapist for our unit, who will primarily work in the team for intellectual disability and mobility impairment.

The tasks consist of a broad spectrum of occupational therapy interventions, and you will contribute your specific perspective in close collaboration with other professions in the team. In this role, you will, among other things, map and assess patients' abilities and needs, as well as plan, implement, and follow up on interventions. The work also includes testing, prescribing, and following up on individually adapted assistive devices, performing CPUP measurements, and issuing certificates.

Our patients often have complex needs, which implies collaboration with, for example, the municipality, other healthcare providers, and authorities.

Interventions take place at the clinic, in the patient's home or local environment, as well as digitally or by phone. The work is based on established care processes and rehabilitation programs, which support our interventions.

What you get with us

  • A meaningful and varied job
  • Collegial support and exchange through work in interdisciplinary teams
  • A structured introduction and good opportunities for competence development and supervision

About You

We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist, or in the final stage of your education and awaiting licensure in the near future. A B-class driver's license is required.

You are structured yet flexible and thrive in a varied job. You can work both independently and in a team and take responsibility for planning and driving your work forward. You have good collaboration skills and appreciate collegial learning in close cooperation with other professions. As a person, you are sensitive, solution-focused, and motivated by supporting people to a valuable life, valuing the equal worth of all.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability. It is an advantage if you have experience with rehabilitation, work with the target group, and the prescription process.
