Do you want to work with embedded software in development environments where quality, traceability, and technical responsibility are central? In this role, you will become part of a development team working on ECU-near functions in complex automotive systems, with high demands on functionality, safety, and delivery.

As a Senior Embedded Developer, you contribute to the development of safety-critical software in complex automotive environments. You work through the entire development chain, from requirements and design to implementation, testing, and release, with a focus on robust and quality-assured solutions. You collaborate closely with cross-functional teams within R&D on assignments for our customers in the mobility sector, ranging from micromobility to passenger cars and heavy vehicles. Some of your future responsibilities include:

• Interpreting and breaking down requirements into technical solutions for ECU functions.
• Developing and further developing embedded software in C (Embedded C).
• Integrating and troubleshooting in vehicle networks (CAN/LIN) and analyzing signal and log data.
• Working with code reviews and coding guidelines.
• Developing testability: unit and integration tests, as well as analysis of regression results.
• Verifying functions in SIL/HIL and driving bugs to root cause.
• Contributing to continuous integration and improving development flows (CI/CD).
• Participating in safety and risk work according to ISO 26262.

Your technical background

• Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in data, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• Embedded developer with extensive professional experience in R&D, specifically in Embedded C.
• Experience with AUTOSAR, CAN/LIN, and tools such as CANoe/CANalyzer and CAPL.
• Experience with HIL/SIL testing and working with CI/CD flows.
• Good understanding of unit and integration testing.
• Knowledge of functional safety ISO 26262.
• Experience with quality assurance work, such as code reviews and FMEA.
• You have a valid driver’s license (Category B).
• Good communication skills, fluent in Swedish and English.
