About the client company

DFDS Logistics Services AB is a transport company within the automotive industry located in Arendal. The operation runs 24/7, six days a week, and employs approximately 250 full-time staff. The vehicle fleet consists of around 300 vehicles, including 80 trucks and 220 trailers.

About the role

We are looking for a Traffic Planner at DFDS Logistics Services AB. In this operational role, you will be responsible for daily planning and handling of transport operations within the Arendal depot. This is a one-year fixed-term position starting on a mutually agreed date.

The position is full-time, with working hours primarily scheduled for evenings. You will become part of an experienced team in a 24/7, six-day-a-week operation with a large fleet of trucks and trailers.

About you

We are looking for someone who thrives in a varied role where the pace can change quickly. You are confident in your communication skills and can interact equally well with drivers and colleagues. We place great emphasis on your personal attitude and your ability to solve problems that arise on the road. You should have a good basic understanding of logistics and be comfortable using a computer as a work tool.

Requirements for the role

• Basic understanding of logistics
• Good prioritization skills
• General system and computer literacy (internal system training provided)
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English

Ambulatory Consultant:

You are employed by DFDS Professionals but work at our clients' sites. Being an ambulatory consultant means you are employed by DFDS Professionals to perform work at the client company, where your workplace, working hours, and tasks may vary within an agreed service area. Selection is ongoing, and an appointment may be made before the application deadline.
