About the role: As a receptionist at Scandic Stora Hotellet, you are an important part of the total experience for our guests. You welcome, check in, and check out guests, and are responsible for ensuring that every stay is characterized by world-class service. The role means you are the hub in the hotel's lobby where you handle guest contact, bookings, administration, security work, and sales. You work with great personal responsibility and have the mandate to make decisions that contribute to satisfied guests and a well-functioning operation. The work is shift-based and suits you who thrive in a lively environment where no day is like the other.

Responsibilities include:

• Check in and check out hotel guests
• Welcome guests and provide information about their stay
• Handle bookings and administrative tasks in Opera Cloud
• Ensure guest requests are met with a high degree of service
• Work with sales, security, and daily operations in the reception
• Handle various situations at a high pace and find creative solutions
• Contribute to high guest satisfaction and professional hospitality

Requirements:

• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Good computer skills and ability to work in digital systems
• Ability to handle many different tasks simultaneously
• Very good sense of service and ability to create good hospitality
• Enjoy working in shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends

Merits:

• Experience working in a hotel reception or other service-oriented role
• Knowledge of the booking system Opera Cloud
• Additional language skills in addition to Swedish and English
