We are now looking for dedicated care assistants at Rotsundastrand in Sollentuna/Rotebro who want to make a difference in the daily lives of our residents. This is a temporary position at 75% where you will work days, evenings, and weekends.

About Rotsundastrand

• We are a dementia-certified residence, which means that everyone working here is trained in dementia and care approaches via Vardaga's Dementia Academy.
• We collaborate with the company Ung Omsorg. A team of young people aged 14–18 visits us on weekends and holidays. Ung Omsorg organizes various activities to add extra value to the lives of our residents.
• You have a group leader who spends most of their time working closely with you in the operations. Becoming a group leader can also be a career opportunity for you as a care assistant.
• We work with animals in care and have regular visits from therapy dogs.
• We are constantly working to come up with new, exciting activities for our residents.

As a care assistant, you are incredibly important!

Your task is to provide quality of life. With your help, our residents can maintain their lifestyle and habits. You see each person and interpret what they need. At the same time, you learn a lot about care, aging, and how to interact with people.

You are closest to the resident and thus have a key role in the team with the nurse, occupational therapist, and physiotherapist. You also participate in care planning and write social documentation.

Your experience and knowledge

We would like you to be a trained care assistant and have worked a few years in elderly care. Good computer skills and experience with documentation are also meritorious. Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is a requirement. Otherwise, your CV is not the most important thing. If you share our values and have the right qualities, we will give you support and the opportunity to grow.
