Temporary Substitute for Preschools in Surahammar Municipality

Our educational activities are located in our three urban areas: Ramnäs, Virsbo, and Surahammar. This includes preschool, preschool class, compulsory school, adapted compulsory school, after-school centers, and youth clubs.

We have development-oriented and pleasant preschools distributed across our three urban areas: Virsbo, Ramnäs, and Surahammar, for children aged 1–5 years. Here you have the chance to help drive the development of preschool education forward.

All staff have access to iPads and Mac computers as tools for, for example, documentation. We implement ICDP (International Child Development Programme) for all staff, which is a health-promoting program designed to strengthen psychosocial care competence. Preschool educators receive theoretical and practical training in the program. Job Responsibilities

As a temporary substitute, you will work in our preschools as needed and may be part of different work teams.

You will work to support children's development and learning, as well as engage in pedagogical work according to the curriculum.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is at least 18 years old and passionate about working with children. Suitable education and/or experience in the field is advantageous. An important quality is that you collaborate well with others and have the ability to identify what needs to be done. You must have a good command of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

It is important that you are adaptable, as you may be required to step in and work with short notice. We assume you work with a holistic view of the child/student and respect the needs of each child/student. It is an advantage if you have a driver's license and access to a car, as we have preschools in our three urban areas: Virsbo, Ramnäs, and Surahammar.

A certificate of good conduct (extract from the police record) and a suspicion register extract (no older than 6 months) are required before employment can begin. A valid ID and proof of citizenship must be presented during the interview. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU/EEA, or Switzerland, a valid work permit must be shown according to current regulations.
