At Capio Artro Clinic - Sophiahemmet, we are Sweden's leading sports injury clinic, a highly specialized orthopedic facility focusing on arthroscopic surgery of the knee, hip, shoulder, ankle, and elbow, as well as hip and knee replacement surgery. We perform approximately 5,000 operations per year and conduct the highest number of cruciate ligament surgeries in Sweden. Our surgical department consists of pre- and post-operative wards, five operating rooms at Sophiahemmet, and two at Gärdet. Additionally, one operating room at Sophiahemmet is staffed and rented out to the Orthopedic Center. We offer rotation between these units to provide you with broader experience and professional development.

In addition to pure orthopedics with outpatient work and surgery, the clinic also hosts one of Stockholm's largest specialist operations within physiotherapy, focusing on sports medicine and orthopedics. Rehabilitation is conducted both at Sophiahemmet and at a branch in the Globen area.

Capio Artro Clinic collaborates with the Center for Sports Injury Research and Education (CIFU), a center established together with the Medical Management Center (MMC) at Karolinska Institutet and the Swedish School of Sport and Health Sciences (GIH). Through CIFU, we have created a creative environment where clinical work, research, and education take place under the same roof within the Sophiahemmet area.

We are looking for an Anesthesia Nurse for our pre- and post-operative ward, which is the main focus of the position.

You will also rotate into the operating room for anesthesia and perioperative care during orthopedic surgeries, including back surgery, prosthetic surgery, and arthroscopy. Rotation to Gärdet on Storängsvägen may also be relevant.

You will work in an experienced team consisting of nurses, ICU nurses, anesthesia nurses, scrub nurses, assistant nurses, and doctors, where collaboration and patient safety are central parts of daily work.

The work takes place on weekdays; the ward is closed on weekends and public holidays.

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse with a specialist education in anesthesia and have an interest in pre- and post-operative care and orthopedic surgery. We expect you to have several years of experience as an anesthesia nurse, and we place great emphasis on personal qualities. Finding solutions when facing new challenges is one of our trademarks, and you will become part of this ongoing development work.

As a person, you are happy to share your knowledge and experiences while being open to learning from others. You are flexible and enjoy working both independently and together with others. You are driven by working in a professional team, sometimes with a high work pace.

Experience from orthopedic surgery is meritorious but not a requirement.
