Assistant Nurse for Night Shifts

About the Role

As an assistant nurse with us, you will actively participate in each patient's rehabilitation and assist with nursing care to ensure that patients' needs are met to the greatest extent possible. This position is night-shift based, meaning that together with registered nurses, you will be responsible for assisting and providing nursing care to our patients/guests during the night. This work includes standard assistant nurse duties such as documentation, assistance with hygiene, and patient mobility. Some sample collection may also be part of the role.

About You

We are looking for you who are a qualified assistant nurse with a few years of professional experience. You are self-assured and adaptable. You enjoy taking responsibility and contributing to the bigger picture. Furthermore, you enjoy working in a team around the guest/patient, but since our night team often works alone, we also look for someone who is comfortable working independently when necessary. A positive attitude and a sense for always giving that "little extra" are seen as a given.

Requirements:

• Certificate as an Assistant Nurse (protected professional title)
• A few years of experience as an assistant nurse in a hospital or similar setting
• Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with TakeCare
• Experience within rehabilitation

About Furuhöjden

We are a private healthcare company consisting of four operations; rehabilitation, rehab center, general practitioner clinic, and occupational health. This position is located at our inpatient rehabilitation unit. Our vision is to be a personal and seamless choice for health, care, and rehabilitation. Furuhöjden Rehabilitation is one of the largest providers of inpatient rehabilitation following acute care in the Stockholm Region. Recently, we have launched specialized neurological rehabilitation following hospital care and have previously had agreements with the Stockholm Region regarding orthopedics, thoracic surgery, general surgery, and neurology.

Other Information

This position is night-shift based. At our facility, you will work in this role from 20:45 to 07:15. The employment percentage we offer is X%. We use a rolling six-week schedule with weekend duties approximately two weekends every six weeks.

We have collective agreements through Almega/Kommunal and apply individual salary setting. We also offer a wellness allowance of 5,000 SEK/year. The position is a permanent employment, with a probationary period of the first 6 months. Selection and interviews take place continuously throughout the spring.
