In preparation for the summer of 2026, we offer temporary positions within home care, short-term housing, personal assistance, LSS housing, supported living, and care and nursing homes.

We offer a summer bonus of 10,000 SEK to those who work the entire vacation period (weeks 25–32). For those who work half of the period, we offer 4,000 SEK, and for those who work individual weeks, we offer 700 SEK per week.

We offer you as an employee a wellness allowance of up to 2,000 SEK (working in June, July, and August gives an allowance of 500 SEK). The wellness allowance can be used for, for example, gym memberships, fishing licenses, horse riding, padel, massage, swimming, etc.

For those who do not live in the municipality, we can offer travel to and from Arvidsjaur as well as support in finding housing.

Job Responsibilities

Home Care

Care and nursing work in the individual's home, as well as administrative tasks such as documentation and planning of daily work duties. Within home care, you work based on the individual's needs. At our workplace, quality is more important than time!

As a nursing assistant or care aide within home care, you implement assistance decisions such as personal care, self-care, service measures, social activities, and simple exercises at home.

You also perform health and medical tasks on delegation from district nurses, occupational therapists, or physiotherapists.

A driver's license is desirable, but not a requirement in all groups.

Care and Nursing Homes (Länsmansgården, Ringelsta, or Ekan)

Within care and nursing homes, you work at a fixed workplace.

As a nursing assistant or care aide at the facility, you implement assistance decisions such as personal care, self-care, service measures, social activities, and simple exercises by complementing the individual's own abilities.

Tasks may include personal hygiene, laundry, showering, planning and conducting joint activities, providing a helping hand, supervision, and health and medical tasks such as medication administration.

A nurse is available around the clock. Social interaction and activities are important for the residents' well-being.

Short-term Housing (Bryggan)

Working at Bryggan means working with basic daily rehabilitation and intensive targeted rehabilitation. Guests can stay at Bryggan based on different decisions such as rehabilitation, investigation, respite, or while waiting for other housing. The number of guests varies and can change with short notice. Internal collaboration is an important part and occurs continuously with assistance handlers, rehab staff, and nurses.

You perform health and medical tasks on delegation from nurses, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists.

Department of Social Care (ASO)

Personal Assistance, LSS Housing, Short-term/Leisure, and Supported Living

Here you meet people with various mental, physical, and cognitive impairments of different ages. You are at a fixed workplace, which can be a residence or the individual's home as a personal assistant.

Tasks may include cooking, cleaning, showering, planning and conducting activities in consultation with users, maintaining contact with relatives or guardians, and medical interventions.

Medical interventions may involve help with, for example, insulin, catheters, and feeding tubes.

On-call duty and solo work occur within the operations. A driver's license is desirable.

Qualifications

We are looking for you with nursing education or education/experience deemed suitable by the employer, or if you have an interest and commitment to working with the elderly and/or people with disabilities. We are looking for you who are positive, empathetic, responsible, and willing to take initiative and be flexible. A positive attitude towards your profession is a given. For you, all people have equal value and should be treated respectfully. Previous experience in care and nursing work as well as experience in written social documentation is advantageous.

In social care, the documentation system Pulsen Combine is used for daily documentation.

Conditions

Hourly employment. We use 37 hours/week as the standard for full-time.
