For the academic year 2026/2027, we are looking for a subject teacher in mathematics for middle and upper secondary school levels. This is a fixed-term position with the possibility of extension.
About us:
- We are a small independent preschool, primary school, and after-school center with a total of approximately 150 children and students.
- We have approximately 110 students distributed across grades F–9.
- We are a bilingual environment characterized by the Swedish and Finnish languages.
- We are centrally located in Tumba, close to commuter trains and buses.
About you:
- You enjoy working with students of different ages, backgrounds, and abilities.
- You view your work holistically, encompassing both the academic and social development of students.
- You see relationship-building as a crucial part of your teaching.
- You are structured and able to work within given frameworks, contexts, needs, and goals, while remaining flexible and prepared for plans to change.
- You take initiative when appropriate and necessary.
- You consider collaboration with colleagues to be essential.
- You see all parts of the school (operations, students, staff, and guardians) as a whole, where you are an important piece of the puzzle alongside the rest of the team.
- You preferably have knowledge of both Swedish and Finnish.
