Orthodontic Merit Position

Two-year merit position: 50% orthodontics + 50% general dentistry

About the position

Are you an engaged dentist looking to broaden your clinical experience and build a solid foundation for a future specialist education in orthodontics?

We now have an opportunity for you to complete a merit position in orthodontics with us at Prime Orthodontics in Nacka Strand.

The position is divided into 50% orthodontic activities at Prime Orthodontics and 50% general dentistry at Nacka Strand Dental, with both practices located under the same roof.

Prime Orthodontics and Nacka Strand Dental is a dentist-owned specialist and general dental clinic with extensive experience in treating both children and adults.

We are looking for you who

· Are a licensed dentist with a valid license issued by the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen)

· Have at least 3 years of documented clinical experience as a dentist in Sweden

· Have previous experience in orthodontics, from general or specialist dentistry

· Communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing

· Maintain a consistently high clinical standard and always put the patient's best interests first

· Are empathetic, meticulous, and trust-building in interactions with both patients and colleagues

As a merit dentist, you will treat cases ranging from aesthetic tooth alignment to more complex malocclusions under the supervision of an experienced specialist dentist. In addition to the main clinical work, you will receive some theoretical education.

Prime Orthodontics offers a wide range of fixed and removable braces and is an authorized healthcare provider for the County Council.
