Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and analytical Data Engineer who wants to work on understanding and optimizing our client's data transactions.

As a Data Engineer, you will become a key person in our client's team and be responsible for analyzing, structuring, and improving their internal data processes and connections between systems. You will work with large datasets, build efficient pipelines, and ensure data quality to support the business's needs.

Our client's vision is to take a leading position in the electricity market and build stable, data-driven solutions that contribute to a sustainable energy system. Now they need your help to get there.

Your Responsibilities

• Analyze and understand data transactions between our systems.
• Develop and optimize data models, pipelines, and integrations.
• Work with databases such as MSSQL, Oracle, Snowflake, and tools like DBT.
• Ensure data quality, performance, and availability.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and the business to create effective data solutions.

Required Skills

• Documented experience with SQL and working with relational databases.
• Experience with databases such as MSSQL, Oracle, Snowflake.
• Knowledge of ETL processes and data integration.
• Understanding of data modeling and database optimization.
• Experience working with DBT or similar tools for data transformation.
• Basic understanding of data protection and security.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with Python or other languages for data handling.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Experience with data analysis and visualization.
• Worked with IoT, MQTT, and real-time data, as well as understanding the consequences of processing real-time data for analysis.
• Used to working in agile teams and with DevOps principles.
