About the role

We are looking for a Junior Paint Preparation Technician for a client in Skärholmen. The role involves preparing vehicles for painting under the guidance of experienced painters and paint technicians. This is a full-time position with opportunities for development and further training in paint and repair processes for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Perform preparatory work prior to painting, such as washing, masking, sanding, and filling, according to instructions.
• Remove and install simple body and interior components in connection with preparations.
• Document completed work and report deviations to the responsible painter or supervisor.
• Ensure good order and cleanliness in the paint workshop and follow current safety and environmental procedures.
• Closely collaborate with painters, panel beaters, and other workshop staff for efficient workflow.
• Participate in internal training and adopt new work methods to develop in the role.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is new to the field or has a few years of experience in the automotive industry and wants to develop within paint preparation. You are meticulous, responsible, and a quick learner. Experience from a workshop or education in automotive painting, vehicle technology, or automotive mechanics is meritorious but not a requirement.

• Interest in vehicle repairs and a good sense for quality and detail work.
• Basic practical experience from a workshop or vehicle education is meritorious.
• Category B driver's license is required.
• Ability to follow instructions meticulously and work in a structured manner.
• Good teamwork skills and willingness to take responsibility within the team.
• Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
