Do you want to work in a high-tech production environment where precision, quality, and smart solutions are a natural part of everyday life? To our client in North Stockholm, we are now looking for a Machine Setter / CNC Operator with solid experience in sheet metal processing.

Here you will become a key person in a modern production where you work with advanced thin sheet metal manufacturing, often in stainless steel materials, and contribute to products used globally. This is a role for you who want to take greater technical responsibility and influence both processes and results.

About the role:

This is a role with a clear focus on setup, optimization, and technical responsibility, not just machine operation. You work close to the production and have an important function in ensuring efficient runs, high quality, and stable processes.

You will be one of the key people in the work of developing and improving production, where your experience truly makes a difference.

Responsibilities

• Set up, rig, and optimize punching and press brake machines
• Work with advanced machines
• Ensure efficient runs and minimize setup times
• Interpret drawings and choose the right manufacturing methods
• Work practically with thin sheet metal, often in stainless steel
• Responsible for quality, tolerances, and fit
• Drive improvements in production, flows, and working methods

Who are you?

You are an experienced and independent machine setter or senior CNC operator with strong technical understanding. You thrive in a role where you get to take responsibility, make decisions, and contribute to development.

You have an eye for detail and pride in delivering high quality, while also seeing the big picture in production.

We believe you have:

• Several years of experience in sheet metal processing
• Experience in setting up and optimizing punching and/or press brake machines
• Good drawing reading skills and technical understanding
• Experience working independently in production
• Swedish and English in speech and writing
• Driver's license and access to a car

Extra plus if you also have:

• Programming experience (e.g., Trumpf, Amada, Bystronic)
• Experience with stainless steel materials
• Forklift license
