Tollco AB, through Oplana, is now looking for an engaged machine operator who wants to help ensure stable and efficient production. About the Role
As a machine operator at Tollco, you are responsible for the operation and monitoring of the company's stamping machines. You ensure that production is carried out according to drawings, quality requirements, and production plans, while actively working to optimize the machine's performance.
The role involves overall responsibility for your own machine, focusing on quality, productivity, and continuous improvements. You work closely with colleagues in production and contribute to the business achieving its goals regarding delivery precision, efficiency, and quality.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will among other things:
Machine Operation and Production Responsibility
- Operate and monitor stamping machines according to production orders
- Ensure products are manufactured according to drawings, specifications, and quality requirements
- Perform ongoing quality checks during production
- Work proactively to ensure stable and trouble-free operation
Preparations and Setups
- Prepare materials for production
- Ensure the correct tools are used for the correct product
- Mount, change, and adjust tools as needed
- Set up machines for optimal function, quality, and efficiency
- Work systematically to minimize setup times
Quality Assurance
- Measure and verify that products meet drawings and specification requirements
- Document according to current procedures
- Report, analyze, and contribute to correcting deviations
Business Systems and Reporting
- Handle production orders in the business system Monitor
- Register production times, material consumption, and finished volumes
- Ensure correct and ongoing reporting
Work Environment and Improvement Work
- Work according to 5S principles for order and cleanliness
- Contribute to a safe, organized, and efficient workplace
- Actively participate in improvement work and the development of production processes
Forklift Operation
- Handle material transport within production
- Transport finished products and production materials
- Work according to current safety regulations and procedures
Focus on Results and Continuous Improvement
In this role, you work actively towards the business's most important key performance indicators:
- Uptime – contribute to high machine availability and minimize unplanned stops
- Scrap – ensure correct quality from the start and reduce waste
- Setup Time – optimize changeovers through planning and structure
- Delivery Precision – ensure production is carried out according to plan
You are expected to contribute ideas and initiatives that strengthen production efficiency and quality over time.
We Are Looking For
- Experience working as a machine operator in manufacturing industry
- Technical interest and thrive in a production environment
- Good ability to read and understand drawings
- Detail-oriented, quality-conscious, and responsible
- Enjoy working systematically and in a solution-oriented manner
- Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
Requirements
- Forklift license (Truckkort)
Merits
- Experience with stamping or sheet metal processing
- Experience with the business system Monitor
- Experience with improvement work in production
