Do you want to break new ground, build a business from scratch, and drive volume sales in retail?

Vajda Papír Scandinavia is looking for a driven Sales Manager to take responsibility for establishing the company's sales within the DVH (Daily Grocery/Hypermarkets) sector in Sweden. This is a sales role for you who loves proactive sales, has experience working with professional buyers – and is ready to do what it takes to create business in a tough and challenging market.

In the role you will be responsible for building up Vajda Papír's sales within DVH and AFH (Away From Home), focusing on high volumes of toilet paper and household paper. Your primary target audience at the start will be larger grocery stores (and chains) as well as paper wholesalers in Sweden (focus on Central Sweden and the Northern Coast), but you will also assist with sales to Norwegian customers. In parallel with the push within DVH, Vajda Papír has already begun establishing itself in Sweden within the AFH segment, among others through collaborations with paper wholesalers, creating a stable foundation for the continued expansion within DVH. The company has also conducted pilot tests in the DVH channel, where the offer and sales model have been tested in practice with grocery players. The outcome confirms that there is clear receptiveness and business potential in the segment.

We are looking for you who thrive on selling to customers who already have existing suppliers – and know how to win their trust, who know that high sales activity is the key to results, and who independently plan your travels, book your meetings, and take responsibility for the entire sales cycle.

The role is based from a home office in the Stockholm area and involves field sales every day, with approximately 50 overnight stays per year in Sweden. You are also expected to spend a few days per month at the regional office/factory in Norway for customer visits. You report to our Nordic Sales Director and collaborate closely with colleagues in the Nordics.

You bring with you:

  • At least 5 years of experience in proactive DVH sales within FMCG
  • Documented very strong results from new customer acquisition in competitive segments
  • Experience selling to professional buyers with high demands on both price and quality, e.g., ICA Maxi
  • The ability to independently drive sales processes from planning to closing
  • A strong focus on new markets, strong business acumen, negotiation skills, and high activity levels

Meritorious: experience in sales within hygiene/paper products.

You reside in the Stockholm area/Mälardalen and have a B-driver's license. You speak fluent Swedish and business English.
