Do you want to help shape a kitchen where quality, craftsmanship, and community are at the center?

Hopkoket is a small restaurant and cheese and delicatessen shop inspired by the French bistro kitchen. We are now looking for a Head Chef (1st Chef) who wants to take a central role in the kitchen alongside our Head Chef.

With us, you are both an operational chef and team leader during your shift. You are a driving force in production, ensuring quality in every dish and contributing to creating a kitchen that works efficiently, structured, and with joy.

In this role, you will:

  • Cook food and lead the work in the kitchen during your shift

  • Work together with the Head Chef on menus, ingredients, and working methods

  • Ensure quality, pace, and structure in service

  • Contribute to good planning, waste control, and food cost management

  • Create a positive and professional work environment in the kitchen

We work with a limited menu, clear identity, and high repeatability in our gastronomic profile.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience from restaurant kitchens

  • Thrives in an operational role and likes to take responsibility

  • Is structured, solution-oriented, and team-focused

  • Has an interest in French-inspired cooking

With us, you will have an important role in an engaged team where you, together with the Head Chef, will help develop both the kitchen and the concept.

The Position

  • Full-time (approx. 40 hours/week)

  • Scheduled working hours day/evening every other week

  • Salary according to agreement and collective agreement
