About the Role

As a Traffic Controller at Halmstad Delivery, you have a central and operational role in daily operations. You are responsible for planning, coordinating, and following up on transport assignments with a focus on efficiency, delivery precision, and customer satisfaction.

You work closely with drivers, customers, and partners, ensuring that the right resources are used in the right place at the right time. The role involves a high pace where you continuously prioritize, resolve deviations, and make quick decisions to keep the flow going.

In addition to daily operations, you contribute to developing and improving working methods, routes, and processes – with the goal of creating an even more efficient and scalable logistics operation.

Your Responsibilities

In the role of Traffic Controller, you are responsible for planning, leading, and optimizing daily transport assignments with a focus on efficiency and high delivery precision. You coordinate drivers, vehicles, and routes to ensure a stable and well-functioning flow in the business.

The work involves continuously handling deviations and making quick decisions to minimize disruptions in deliveries. You maintain a continuous dialogue with both drivers and customers, ensuring clear communication and a high level of service.

Furthermore, you follow up on deliveries and actively work to identify areas for improvement in transport flows. The role also includes administrative tasks in the transport management system, where you are responsible for ensuring documentation and handling are done correctly.

Your Profile

Requirements:

• Have experience in traffic control, transport planning, or similar operational logistics roles
• Have documented ability to plan and prioritize in a dynamic, high-paced environment
• Communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing
• Are accustomed to working in transport management systems and have good general IT skills
• Have experience in handling deviations and making real-time decisions
• Have a good understanding of logistics flows, resource planning, and delivery precision

Merits:

• Knowledge of laws and regulations within transport (e.g., driving and rest times)
• Experience in optimizing routes and streamlining transport flows
• Experience with customer contact in an operational environment
• Post-secondary education in logistics or transport management
