About the role

Are you our new everyday hero? As a bus driver at Transdev, you are a key person – a real hero who takes our passengers on a journey wherever it may lead every day.

During the summer months, we need to staff up our regional traffic in Umeå with temporary personnel. This is a temporary position/short-term contract where the schedule may vary during the period from 2026-06-01 to 2026-08-31.

For the first two weeks of the summer period, you will work for Transdev. Thereafter, the traffic will be operated by Abramssons Buss as a subcontractor, and you will be employed by them from June 15 onwards.

As a bus driver, you will work among colleagues with a strong family-like cohesion and warm team spirit. Every day, we strive to create attractive public transport with the customer in focus.

Responsibilities

• Drive the bus on scheduled routes
• Provide our passengers with a simple, safe, and pleasant journey
• Greet and welcome passengers aboard the bus
• Report traffic disruptions and deviations to traffic control
• Report vehicle defects and damage to the bus

Qualifications

• Valid D-category driving license
• Valid Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
• Driver card for digital tachograph according to the Swedish Transport Agency
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written

Crucial for the role of bus driver is also your driving ability! You are a skilled driver who operates the vehicle in a safe and secure manner with environmental awareness as a foundation. You are responsible and can maintain your composure even in stressful traffic and customer situations.
