Employment Type: Permanent, with a six-month probationary period

Working Hours and Part-time Percentage: Daytime, 2-3 days per week, approx. 50%

Job Description

As an occupational therapist, you will work based on the individual's wishes and needs to best promote a healthy daily life. In this role, you will help maintain and develop the individual's physical, cognitive, and social abilities. You will supervise care staff in tasks within the profession, handle documentation and deviations, and in some cases be responsible for activities for our elderly.

Examples of tasks:

• Supervise care staff in tasks within the profession
• Risk and function assessments and follow-up
• Fitting and prescribing of assistive devices
• Participate in team meetings and care planning
• Risk assessments related to the work environment
• Map residents' wishes and needs for activities
• Plan, prepare, and conduct activities at the facility
• Collaborate with external actors, e.g., associations, musicians, school classes

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have a genuine interest in working in elderly care where you daily contribute to creating a meaningful life for our elderly. You are a customer-focused, service-oriented, and creative person who finds it easy to build relationships and has good teamwork skills. For this role, it is required that you are a licensed occupational therapist, preferably with experience in elderly care.

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you, as an applicant, can provide a valid ID and any documents proving the right to work in Sweden.

We are looking for you who:

• Are educated and licensed as an occupational therapist
• Have knowledge of documentation in medical record systems (ICF or VIPS)
• Have good skills in Swedish, both spoken and written

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience working in elderly care or home help services
• Experience working with people with dementia
• Experience working as an activity coordinator
