Överkalix Municipality, Medical Team, is looking for you who are trained as an Occupational Therapist for a developing and valuable job.

Description:

Occupational Therapist, full-time, daytime. Permanent position. Start date according to agreement.

Responsibilities:

As an occupational therapist in Överkalix Municipality, you are part of the medical team consisting of licensed personnel – nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and assistant nurses.

The occupational therapist's area of responsibility covers outpatient healthcare in the home and the municipality's special housing, in group and service housing, as well as daily activities within LSS (Act for Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments).

We are looking for an occupational therapist who has interest and commitment to work with rehabilitation and perform healthcare interventions for individuals within the municipality's area of responsibility.

As an occupational therapist, you work with mentoring and supporting individuals, relatives, and staff in rehabilitation matters. You initiate treatment and training that develops, restores, and maintains the individual's functional capacity. You are responsible for the trial and prescription of technical aids, assessments for housing adaptations, and to the social care committee's operations as needed.

Qualifications:

Licensed occupational therapist.

Experience working within municipal operations is meritorious. You must have good cooperation skills and be flexible. You must be able to work independently and take your own initiatives and decisions. We document in the operation system Pulsen Combine.

Coordinated planning takes place in Lifecare SP. Risk assessments are handled via the quality register Senior Alert.

Requirement to be able to express the Swedish language well in both speech and writing. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
