Assistant Nurses for Southern Home Care

Organization Description

Home Care consists of seven units: Northern, Southern, Close, Eastern, Support Unit, Night Unit, and Resource Unit. All units, except those in the rural areas, are co-located on Upplagsvägen together with the district nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists of the home healthcare service.

Through individually needs-assessed interventions, we strengthen the individual's ability to manage their daily life and enable them to continue living in a safe and familiar environment.

Job Responsibilities

As an assistant nurse at Southern Home Care, you provide service, personal care, and social support to clients in their own homes. You should bring joy, security, and act as an attentive contact person. Our clients have individual needs and wishes, and we strive to match staff accordingly through planning within the work group.

The work includes planning, implementation, follow-up, and documentation of interventions according to the organization's quality goals. You will collaborate closely with colleagues and other professions to ensure the best possible care. The role also includes ombudsman duties within the team.

Computers and mobile phones are used as work tools, and good computer skills are desirable. Your duties include documenting and communicating with various parties, which requires good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.

In our operations, we use systems such as Pulsen Combine, TES, Skyresponse, and DF Respons.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• Have nursing education or other education that the employer deems equivalent.
• Have knowledge, experience, or a genuine interest in working within home care.
• Are flexible, meticulous, and have a professional and respectful attitude.
• Can express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish.
• Have good digital competence.
• Enjoy both teamwork and independent responsibility.
• Hold a valid driver's license (required).

Personal suitability is highly valued.

Gällivare Municipality is the administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli, and Finnish. Knowledge of any of these languages is an advantage.

Working Hours/Duration

Employment level: 100%. Shift work: day/evening/weekend.

Permanent position. Probation period may apply.
