RESPONSIBILITIES

The area consists of group and service housing, short-term accommodation for children and young people, personal assistance, and day activities under the LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). The area also includes social psychiatry operations (SoL) with housing, housing support, and employment activities.

Your task as staff is to support the individual in their daily life based on their needs, conditions, and wishes. You assist with household chores, cooking, and work-like activities. You may also be helpful with social activities such as walks and escorting. Medical care delegated by a nurse is also part of the work.

For us, the individual's self-determination and participation are the starting points for how daily work is structured.

It is a varied job where you get to take responsibility. No day is like another!

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have a pleasant manner and enjoy working with people!

As a person, it is important that you are positive and engaged, as you are to convey security and joy in our operations. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. We would appreciate it if you, in addition to good knowledge of Swedish, also have other language skills.

For employment as a support assistant, you must be trained as a nursing assistant or childcare worker and be able to provide certificates/diplomas.

Untrained individuals are employed as support aides and can work for a limited time.

It is an advantage if you have any of the following competencies:

• Methods/approaches such as AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), low-affective handling, and MI (Motivational Interviewing).

• You must be 18 years old at the time of employment.
• A Category B driver's license is a requirement in some units.
• Cycling proficiency is a requirement.
• You must be able to communicate and document in Swedish.
• In your work, you are expected to be able to use a computer, tablet, and smartphone.
• From July 1, 2023, "nursing assistant" (undersköterska) is a protected title. This means that as a nursing assistant, you need to apply for a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare and present it to the employer to use the title.
• We will require you to show a criminal record extract Work in the home with elderly and persons with disabilities, which is ordered on the Police website. This begins to apply on March 2, 2026.

EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS

Fixed-term employment – Hourly wage.

Working hours are scheduled for day, evening, and weekend. There are operations with wakeful nights and/or sleeping on-call duty.

Start date by agreement.
