About the Job

Our client, an active and positive 30-year-old woman who uses a wheelchair and has extensive care needs in her daily life, is now looking for two dedicated and responsible personal assistants. Our client desires an active daily life and enjoys going for walks, taking trips, attending concerts, going to the cinema, and participating in other social events.

The role of a personal assistant includes all personal care tasks such as personal hygiene, medication administration, tube feeding, mobility assistance, physiotherapy, household chores, and leisure activities.

As an assistant, you must be attentive and able to quickly interpret various signals from the client. You should be proactive and capable of activating and stimulating the client to engage in various activities.

As an assistant, you should radiate warmth and security and maintain a positive attitude towards both the client and colleagues.

You should have a clear understanding of what the assistant profession entails and what is expected of you. You must have a strong work ethic and good teamwork skills.

As an assistant, you need good physical fitness as the role involves lifting (person lifts are available), turning, and longer walks with a wheelchair. This is a casual/as-needed position, where you work when permanent staff are sick or absent for other reasons.

Client Requirements and Preferences:

• Extract from the police record of convictions.
• Fluency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• SFI (Swedish for Immigrants) Level A, B, C, or D.
• Swedish 1, 2, 3, or 4.
• Experience with Trach, PEG, and epilepsy is considered an advantage.
