About the role We are currently recruiting a technically skilled individual for the position of Technical Support Engineer with an international company specializing in ventilation and fan technology, with a particular focus on control and regulation technology. The company is a global player with over 60 years of experience in energy-efficient fan solutions. In this role, you will be part of the department responsible for after-sales, upgrades, and optimization of existing ventilation systems. Many of our customers are installers, ventilation companies, and property management firms, where you will have daily contact with clients, helping them with issues related to installation, building systems, and ventilation, specifically concerning control functions, operational optimization, and troubleshooting of controlled ventilation solutions.

Your future responsibilities As a Technical Support Engineer, you will assist installers, customers, and internal sales teams in resolving technical questions regarding ventilation fans and control systems. Many cases come in via phone, often from technicians in the field who require quick, qualified support.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Providing technical support via phone and email regarding control, regulation, and ventilation.
• Assisting installers with troubleshooting.
• Evaluating whether products should be returned or replaced.
• Providing guidance on installation, operation, and replacement products.
• Supporting the sales team with technical inquiries.
• Interpreting basic ventilation drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Accompanying field visits for technical cases in the region when necessary.

We are looking for someone who

• Has experience in a technical role within control and regulation technology, or building automation.
• Has a good technical understanding and experience in troubleshooting technical systems.
• Speaks and writes fluent Swedish.
• Is proficient in computer use.

The following qualifications are considered meritorious

• Experience in technical support.
• Experience with CRM systems or business systems such as SAP or Salesforce.
• Knowledge of airflows, pressure drops, or ventilation drawings.

As a person, you are solution-oriented and service-focused. You enjoy helping others and are driven by finding solutions to technical problems. You are also self-motivated and take the initiative when you need to gather more information.
